Description

Ultratech Cements Limited, a prominent Indian cement manufacturer, partnered with Sukoon to pilot the Haldhar MUT-eV at their Awarpur facility. The MUT-eV, configured with trailer haulage and fork-lift attachments, demonstrated substantial operational ease and improvements. With estimated cost savings of approximately $2,140 over six months as opposed to using ICE Tractor, the MUT-eV proved to be an optimal choice for Ultratech's internal logistics system. Note: The estimated operational cost savings of $2,140 are based on a comparison with a similar 15hp ICE tractor. However, industry norms often employ larger, overpowered ICE tractors for similar tasks. Sukoon's innovative technology, featuring our proprietary Proximity Power Distribution Technology (PPDT), optimizes efficiency by utilizing multiple motors and drive systems. This approach minimizes energy consumption, leading to substantial operational cost savings.

Impact & Result

Over the 6 months of operations, Ultratech's use of our Electric MUT-eV Tractor has yielded significant environmental and financial benefits. With a daily usage of 5 to 6 hours, We estimate a total COeq reduction of 6 tonnes and operation costs savings of approximately $2,140 in fuel and maintenance costs. Ultratech has reviewed Sukoon's product positively and continues to explore further implementation of our technology in their manufacturing operations.

Solution Spotlight

Equipped with a 9.6kW Battery Pack, the Haldhar MUT-eV (Multi-Utility Farming Tool) is a compact E-Tractor that functions as a robust power source, facilitating the integration of diverse attachments to enhance productivity. This transformative technology enables the electrification of ICE operations across farms, campuses, and industrial sites. As a fully electric vehicle, the MUT-eV addresses the escalating fuel costs, labor expenses, and maintenance challenges faced by farmers in developing nations. Moreover, its solar charging compatibility facilitates grid-free operations, extending its reach to even the most remote locations in India, Africa, and other developing regions.
