Label Date July 6, 2020

Maturity stage TRL 9 / CRI 2 - Commercial Trial Small Scale

It can be charged by renewable energy, such as wind and solar, and provide all the power of a comparable diesel tractor. The eFarmer has a front hitch for loader or reaper, a mid hitch for bed preparation and cultivation with total visibility and a rear hitch and 540rpm PTO for any Category ! Any of the hitches can also load and carry exchangeable battery packs to extend run time and balance the weight of implements. The eFarmer uses linear actuators to lift the hitches. These electric actuators are 10 times more efficient than the hydraulic lifts on diesel tractors and have no toxic fluid to leak on crops. The front and rear wheel tract is adjustable from 40" to 72" to work on the different width planting beds used by row crop farmers. The eFarmer has 18" of ground clearance to allow cultivation without damaging crops.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Low noise: 2000 times quieter than diesel tractors
  • No hydraulic fluid leaks
  • Can be charged from on site renewable energy sources thus eliminating all air pollution and GHG emissions.
  • Zero emission at point of use

The Financial Benefits

  • A payback in 5 to 10 years with 10 times less fuel expense and 8 times less maintenance
  • Longer lifespan than diesel tractors thanks to only one moving part in the motor
