From harvest residues, PPP is capable of generating charcoal, energy and clean exhaust. The energy can be heat or heat and power. Since charcoal has a multitude of applications in agriculture, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions from livestock, barns, manure storage, and fields and meadows. In addition, PPP has significant positive side effects such as increasing yields, reducing fertilizer use, improve water management and in general health. PPP carbon will remain 300 times longer in the soil compared to other forms of organic carbon, efficiently sequestrating CO2. For each ton of dry biomass residue, 2400 kWh of clean energy is being generated and 900 kg CO2 are being stored for thousands of years in the ground.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Negative CO2 emissions while providing up to 500g/kWh
  • Additional income & higher yield from the field, while mitigating climate change effects
  • Improves soil's resilience

The Financial Benefits

  • By converting harvest residues into energy and higher soil fertility, a farmer could earn up to 600 $ while sequestering 1 ton CO2 as Cfix.
  • Payback reached under 1 year
