CARBONIUM® is specially designed for compression molding in order to obtain parts of variable geometrical complexity. Depending on the material configurations and the molding process, it is possible to obtain very good mechanical properties. The particularity this product is to obtain complex geometries while keeping fiber lengths up to 50mm. With no less than 2/3 carbon fiber mass content and the use of structural epoxy resins 180 °C class, it gets a high-performance product whose density (1.55) is almost half of that of the aluminum. In addition to being moldable, it also can be drilled and machined according to technical constraints.

The Environmental Benefits
