About

Focal Line Solar has developed concentrated solar thermal (CST) technology to generate solar derived heat and steam that is competitive with natural gas, and 1/3 cheaper than its nearest competitor, for industrial processes such as sterilization, pasteurization, fermentation, dehydration, cooking, dyeing and heating as well as district heating networks. By focusing on cost, Focal Line Solar has driven innovated in all area of CST - technology, process and operations. Coupled with heat-based absorption chillers, the technology can provide affordable, renewable sub-zero refrigeration on the industrial scale. Coupled with steam turbine generators, the technology can delivery cost effective 24/7 electricity for micro-grids such as are being planned in data centers. Coupled with off the shelf and cost effective thermal energy storage, the technology can deliver affordable, renewable energy 24/7. Focal Line Solar plans to bring its technology to production within a year.
