About

New York City’s buildings are responsible for 80% of the City’s emissions, and 94% of its total electricity consumption. With new regulations, such as Local Law 97, building owners are becoming financially accountable for their carbon emissions. Electromaim helps building owners save money on energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint, mitigating the impact of potential fines. We retrofit micro hydro-generators into the water systems of buildings, recapturing lost energy potential. In NYC, using an average 30 story building, a building owner could save 260 MT of CO2 and more than $230,000 annually by installing our solutions. To put that into perspective, you would emit that amount of CO2 after driving almost 1 million miles in a typical gasoline car.
