About
The shape of the Domespace is based on the golden ratio (le nombre d'or). The proportions of the nautilus shell and the human body are examples of it in the nature. That is why its shape is unique and gives a special feeling, a feeling of space.
The Domespace has recently been improved technically by meeting the requirements of a passive house. It is made of natural class 4 and 5 wood; this means a rot proof wood that does not need to be chemically treated. The insulation is also natural, made of cotton and coco fibres pannels.
Thanks to Innosuisse, a full thermic study has been conducted by the HEIG VD which has confirmed that Domespace is a passive house with the Ecobilan for its materials (per norm SIA 2032 / SIA 390-1) satisfying the Minergie-Eco and SNBS labels.
This house takes full advantage of the sun in winter and hides from the the sun in summer, energetically fully in line with the main ecological concerns of today.
