Digimind developed cutting-edge AI software to accelerate packaging innovation. Digimind is developing its AI software solution to enable the packaging industry to develop sustainable, safe, and cost-effective packaging in a very short time leveraging the power of AI. Our aim is to accelerate the transition from a linear to a circular economy by 2025.
The main features of Digimind's platforms are the following:
- AI design advisor: provides the designer with immediate feedback on the influence of features on performance. The tool could also propose new design features to accelerate the design process, no need for the second step of finite elements anymore.
- AI lightweight: enables in a matter of minutes the exploration of new packages with reduced weight and without compromising the performance
- Seamless Cloud platform: The first seamlessly integrated environment dedicated to the packaging industry providing the opportunity to reduce the time to market and the iteration cycles coming from today's broken process chain
- Virtual testing and validation (digital twin): the end-user implement the expected LCA of the packages and the platform perform automatic virtual testing of the performance of the product reducing the cost and time of physical testing. This includes transportation, top load, drop test, blow molding, etc.
- Dashboard: Provide the packaging engineer with full information on the cost, sustainable impact, and performance of a package in one place
- Materials Libraries: The core capability to achieve all the previous steps is to provide customers with a core material library covering the composition of the materials models
- Platform Ecosystem: Another functionality is the openness of the platform, end-user could find help from packaging experts, suppliers and even download new software applications from other players in the ecosystem
