Oris heater with embedded battery offers improved connectivity and performance, as well as HEMS interoperability and AI
The Oris is a new iteration of the LANCEY Capella heater with an integrated battery, designed to deliver higher performance at lower cost thanks to a complete redesign of the product architecture. 1) Heating: in addition to its dry inertia technology, which ensures a stable temperature and optimum comfort, the Oris heating block is powered by both DC current from the battery or AC current from the grid or from solar panels. 2) Storage: a micro-inverter plus an AC/DC power supply ensures energy storage from solar production and during low electricity tariffs, as well as the reinjection of surplus energy into the domestic household, maximizing the benefits of the battery. 3) Embedded intelligence: a gateway and a new AI-enhanced HEMS, ready to control other connected home equipment from a single platform, enabling the user to participate in flexibility demand services and thus, increasing the potential for energy savings and faster return on investment.
