Luchrome is specialized in the manufacturing of a new generation E-Paper display with a focus in integration of this display in smart label for asset tracking, electronic shelf label for retail, medical device and consumer electronics. The innovation of Luchrome is to create a display that is 10 times lower in terms of energy consumption, 3 times lower in cost production and 60 times lower for the environmental impact as no metal and no scarce ressource are used. Furthermore this display is flexible, lightweight and very easy to produce with common printing equipment. It is therefore possible to integrate display where it was not thinkable before.
After more than 10 years of R&D, 2 patents, the team has the capacity to produce this technology in-house thanks to its own production tool.
With Luchrome a new type of electronic is possible with lower impact, less electronic waste and with a production in Europe.
