Green Tech Aircraft offers clean new technologies and a significantly lower operating cost, solving for major challenges in the aviation industry.
4.1 billion passengers boarded an aircraft in 2017, and air travel is projected to double over the next 20 years. Ambitious goals have been put forward by governments and airlines to drastically reduce emissions and noise, aiming at carbon-neutral growth by 2020. Historically, fuel cost represents 19% to 37% of the total ticket price, putting pressure on both consumer fares and operating margins. And today, only large seat capacity aircraft - with typically 70 to 200 seats - make economic sense, leading to congested airport hubs and high density routes.
